End of Term Message from the Principal

As the term draws to a close I would like to thank students, parents, staff, Drive Team members and business partners for their ongoing support for Alde Valley Academy.

The school continues to go from strength to strength and we look forward to building upon our GCSE success from 2017. Alde Valley Academy students performed significantly above the national average with an extremely positive progress score. It showed that Year 11 students achieved on average half a grade more in all of their subjects than they would have done in other schools nationally.

Thank you to those parents who completed our recent survey, the results are extremely positive:
• 90% of parents said that their child is happy
• 93% of parents said that their child feels safe
• 93% of parents said that their child is well taught
• 94% of parents said that their child makes good progress

Next year will provide its challenges with preparations for the transport plan amongst other things (click here to see a statement from Bright Tribe Academy Trust) but please be re-assured that the schools’ priority will always be putting the education of your children first.

I wish you all an enjoyable, relaxing and safe summer and look forward to seeing you all at Alde Valley Academy for our Open Evening on 20th September.
