Alde Valley Academy gets funding for poster-size printer

The need for a printer to produce full-size posters at Alde Valley Academy has been met by a £1500 donation from Councillor Richard Smith from his Locality budget. Councillor Smith presented the cheque at a school assembly recently and said: “One of the most striking things I notice when I visited the school is the very high-quality artwork on the walls. I am really pleased to have been able to fund the purchase of a poster-size printer to make larger scale art reproductions of students’ works. Alde Valley Academy is the most improved school in Suffolk this year and this donation marks, in part, that considerable achievement.”

Mr Wilson, Principal, thanked Councillor Smith for funding the purchase of this important piece of equipment which, he assured, would be well used and appreciated by the pupils and staff.
